What is Cooked Press Cheese?

Cooked press cheese is a type of pressed cheese, which tends to be fairly soft and mild in flavour. It’s made by heating the curds until they are dry enough to form into blocks or wheels. Cooked press cheeses tend to have a distinctive melty texture, and go well on toasties, burgers and pizzas.
